Around Gaia – World Adventure Travellers arrive in South Africa

World Adventure travelling couple (Around Gaia), Ivana Colakovska and Manu Torres have arrived in South Africa. They are embarking on the final leg (Africa) of their epic journey which has seen them cover 41 countries, 5 continents and 118000km as they get closer to achieving their goal of travelling around the world.

The Adventurous duo started their journey on April 17, 2013. Their goals included visiting every continent from shore to shore, using only one motorcycle for the entire journey, no GPS or other tools for navigation and to top it all off they decided not to sleep in hotels but rather find free accommodation every single day.

For an experienced rider this would already be a massive undertaking but what makes this story very special is that this inspirational pair started the journey with absolutely no previous riding, or for that matter technical experience concerning motorcycles. They had a dream to travel the world, went out and bought a Yamaha XT660Z and started the journey without a plan and very little money. 3 years later they’re still going strong despite some very challenging times.
