Tyson was 12 years old when he first rode a motorcycle, a TW200. It was also the first bike he fell off of because he couldn’t put his feet on the ground. The bug bit as hard as the dust that day and since then he’s ridden everything he could get his (short) legs over. He’s raced in both the SA National Superbike and the British Superbike series but now spends most of his time riding dirt roads on his KLR650, another bike he can’t touch the ground on.
Since launching in 2014, ZA Bikers has established itself as South Africa’s go-to destination for everything happening in the local motorcycle scene, bringing readers the latest bike launches, reviews, racing, gear, travel and industry news. Over the years, our focus has naturally expanded to include the broader lifestyle interests of many South African riders, from travel and outdoor experiences to gear, motoring and life beyond the ride.
