This Privacy Policy explains how SNEAX (Pty) Ltd, trading as ZA Bikers, collects, uses, stores and shares personal information through the ZA Bikers website, Dealer Network, Bikes for Sale, Sell Your Bike service, newsletters, mobile services and related business activities.
We process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) and other applicable South African law.

2. Personal Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with ZA Bikers, we may collect:
- Identity and contact information, including your name, business name, email address, telephone number and physical or billing address.
- Dealer and account information, including login details, dealership profile information, brands, categories, locations, contact persons and account status.
- Motorcycle and inventory information submitted manually or supplied through an authorised third-party feed.
- Transaction and subscription information, including the package selected, amounts paid, payment status, renewal dates, invoices and billing history.
- Enquiry information submitted through contact, onboarding, newsletter, competition, Sell Your Bike or other website forms.
- Content supplied for publication, such as Trade News, offers, events, photographs, videos, press material and editorial information.
- Technical and usage information, including IP address, device and browser information, referring pages, pages visited, interactions, cookies and similar identifiers.
- Communications with us, including emails, telephone calls, WhatsApp messages and support requests.
Payment-card and banking details are entered into and processed by PayFast or another approved payment provider. ZA Bikers does not ordinarily receive or store complete card details. We receive the transaction, payment and subscription information required to manage your purchase and account.
3. How We Collect Information
We collect personal information directly from you when you visit or use our website, create or manage an account, complete a form, purchase a package, submit content, contact us or subscribe to communications.
We may also receive information from an authorised dealer representative, AutoTrader or another stock-feed provider, PayFast, analytics and advertising services, social media platforms, publicly available business sources, or another person who is authorised to provide it.
4. Why We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, administer and improve the ZA Bikers website and services.
- Create, review, publish and manage dealer profiles and motorcycle listings.
- Process purchases, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, refunds and invoices.
- Verify and administer dealer accounts and package benefits.
- Deliver enquiries and Sell Your Bike opportunities to relevant participating dealers.
- Publish approved Trade News, advertising, editorial and promotional content.
- Communicate service information, account notices, support messages and renewal reminders.
- Send newsletters and direct marketing where permitted by law.
- Measure website performance, audience engagement and advertising effectiveness.
- Detect fraud, misuse, technical problems and security threats.
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory and contractual obligations.
5. Lawful Grounds for Processing
We process personal information where it is necessary to perform or prepare to perform a contract, comply with a legal obligation, pursue a legitimate business interest that does not unjustifiably infringe your rights, protect a legitimate interest, or where you have consented to the processing.
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before the withdrawal.
6. Dealer Profiles and Published Information
Dealer profiles and listings are intended to be public. Information supplied for publication, such as a dealership name, address, telephone number, WhatsApp number, email address, website, social links, opening hours, brands, inventory and promotional content, may be displayed publicly and indexed by search engines.
Dealers must ensure that they are authorised to provide and publish the personal information of their employees, representatives and customers. Dealers are responsible for keeping their published information accurate and current.
7. Sell Your Bike and Dealer Enquiries
When a person submits a Sell Your Bike request or asks to be contacted by a dealer, the information in that enquiry may be shared with participating dealers that may be able to assist. This can include the seller’s name, contact details, location and motorcycle information.
Participating dealers receive this information only to respond to the relevant enquiry and must process it lawfully, securely and only for that purpose unless the person separately agrees to further contact.
8. Payments and Recurring Subscriptions
Online payments and recurring subscription instructions are processed securely by PayFast or another payment provider made available at checkout. The payment provider applies its own privacy and security terms to information processed on its systems.
We retain the information required to administer the order or subscription, including the customer, package, price, VAT, payment result, transaction reference, renewal status and invoice history.
We use this information to activate and manage services, issue notices, handle failed payments and process cancellations or refunds.
9. Direct Marketing and Newsletters
We may send newsletters, offers and other marketing communications where you have consented or where applicable law otherwise permits us to do so.
Every electronic marketing message will provide a reasonable way to unsubscribe. You may also opt out by contacting us at [email protected].
Service and transactional messages, such as payment confirmations, renewal reminders, password resets and important account notices, are not marketing messages and may still be sent while you use the relevant service.
10. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences, support account and checkout functions, understand how visitors use the site, measure campaigns and display advertising.
These technologies may be provided by ZA Bikers or third parties such as Google.

We do not sell personal information.

- AutoTrader or another authorised inventory-feed provider where a dealer uses that integration.
- Participating dealers when a person submits a relevant enquiry or Sell Your Bike request.
- Professional advisers, accountants, auditors, insurers and legal representatives.
- Regulators, law-enforcement authorities, courts or other persons where disclosure is required or permitted by law.
- A purchaser, successor or adviser in connection with a genuine business restructuring, merger or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.
Service providers may process personal information only for the agreed service and must apply appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
12. Cross-Border Processing
Some technology and service providers may process or store information outside South Africa.
Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure that the recipient is subject to a law, agreement or binding corporate rules that provide an adequate level of protection, or that another basis permitted by POPIA applies.
13. Information Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration and destruction.
These measures may include access controls, authentication, secure hosting, encryption in transit, backups, software updates and restricted administrative access.
No internet-based system is completely secure. If we become aware of a security compromise involving personal information, we will investigate and provide notifications where required by law.
