It’s not often that we get to celebrate a significant milestone anniversary of a landmark business in the Johannesburg motorcycling world, but in October, that is exactly what we are doing.
Biker’s Warehouse on Malibongwe Drive in North Riding has long been an essential destination for thousands of bikers from all over Gauteng, whether to buy bikes, apparel, accessories, spares or for servicing and workshop facilities. We’ve watched it grow from a large operation into a huge operation, and witnessed the addition of many new brands, not least of which have been – on the motorcycle side, at least – Honda, Husqvarna, GasGas, KTM, Kawasaki, Suzuki, QJMOTOR, KAYO and SYM. On the apparel and accessories side, there are dozens of brands.
This is truly a one-stop shop and, to mark the 20th anniversary, Biker’s Warehouse is celebrating with over R600,000 worth of prizes, including five motorcycles!
The competition runs for the whole of October – 1st to the 31st – and to qualify for an entry, all you have to do is spend R2,000 or more in store. There will be five weekly finalists drawn throughout the month, and these winners will be invited to the 20th birthday celebration on the 3rd November, where the final draw and prize-giving will take place.
Alongside the competition, the evening’s theme will centre around “Our Journey Over the Last 20 Years”, celebrating the customers, suppliers, manufacturers, friends and members of the wider motorcycle community, as well as familiar personalities who have played a role in the Biker’s Warehouse story over the past two decades.
The event is open to the public with entertainment, special guests and the evening’s programme to be announced closer to the date.
