The 2024 KTM 1290 Super Adventure R is built for riders looking to take on serious adventure, both on and off the road. At its heart is a powerful 1,301 cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine producing approximately 160 hp and 138 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed transmission, ride-by-wire throttle, electronic fuel injection and PASC slipper clutch.
Purpose-built for demanding terrain, the Super Adventure R features a strong chrome-molybdenum tubular steel frame, WP XPLOR 48 mm front forks and WP XPLOR PDS rear suspension, offering approximately 220 mm of travel front and rear. Brembo brakes with Bosch cornering ABS and off-road mode provide confident braking and control.
The 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheels, 242 mm ground clearance and 23-litre fuel tank make it ready for everything from long-distance touring to challenging off-road adventures. With its combination of performance, suspension capability and advanced rider technology, the 1290 Super Adventure R is made to go wherever the road ends.
