The 2024 KTM 50 SX is a lightweight, race-focused junior motocross motorcycle designed to give young riders the performance, control and confidence needed to develop their skills on the track.
At the heart of the 50 SX is a 49.9 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder 2-stroke engine, equipped with a Dell’Orto PHBG 19 BS carburettor, Seletra digital ignition and kick starter. Its single-speed automatic transmission and adjustable centrifugal clutch provide smooth, controllable power delivery, allowing riders to concentrate on throttle control, braking and riding technique.The lightweight chrome-molybdenum steel central-tube frame provides a strong and durable foundation while keeping the overall motorcycle agile and easy to handle. Suspension consists of WP XACT 35 mm upside-down front forks with approximately 200 mm of travel, paired with a WP XACT rear monoshock offering approximately 190 mm of travel.Stopping power comes from 160 mm front and rear disc brakes, while the 12-inch front and 10-inch rear spoked wheels are fitted with motocross-specific tyres for confident grip on the track.With a 653 mm seat height, 233 mm ground clearance, approximately 42.5 kg dry weight and a 2.3 L fuel tank, the KTM 50 SX combines lightweight handling with proven KTM motocross technology in a package built specifically for young racers.Lightweight. 2-stroke.
